Pro Series 10" Steel Stator The Pro Series Steel Stator 10" Converters are for extreme conditions. Designed to work in vehicles tranz brake equipped with a total of 1000 horsepower including nitrous. They have a special sprag assembly; reinforced pump, cover assemblies; chrome moly turbine hub, pump drive; furnace brazed pump, turbine; and three sets of bearings. This unit makes a great converter for the mud bogger. The General Motors models are set up for TH350 bolt pattern. May require changing flywheel. The Chrysler and American Motors models are set up with 7/16" size bolt pads. Order our Part #17106 Converter Bolts. For Chrysler only if 6-bolt crank order Flexplate Part #17100SFI and if 8-bolt crank, order Flexplate Part #17103SFI. The Pro Series Steel Stator 10" Converters are available in three versions: Loose, Medium and Tight. The standard unit is built Loose. The Medium and Tight versions are by special order. Some guidelines to determine which version to choose: For Chrysler, General Motors and Ford small blocks up to 360 cu. in., use the standard model Loose; for 361cu.in. to 420cu. in., use the Medium; and for 421cu.in. to 500cu.in., use the Tight. The Chrysler models available by special order if 1971-up for engines requiring engine balance. Therefore, give year, cubic inch and if possible, the size of the weights on stock converter.
