CHEETAH E-SHIFT Controller
and
CHEETAH E-SHIFT Valve Body

Frequently asked Questions

The CHEETAH E-SHIFT Controller was designed originally for the control of the Turbo Action CHEETAH E-SHIFT Valve Bodies.  When the final product was completed we incorporated all the provisions to operate almost all devices (air, CO2, electric and electronic shifters, electronic valve bodies, shift lights, shock controls, low side chips, high side chips, etc.) that required a precise rpm control.  The CHEETAH E-SHIFT Controller is laid out in a analog fashion so not to intimidate a non computer individual and you can change settings in the staging lanes with no additional equipment in a matter seconds.  The wiring is very simple, but must be done neatly and accurately.  Race car wiring in general can be very poorly done and causes many problems for all electronic manufacturers including Turbo Action!

Turbo Action CHEETAH E-SHIFT Valve Bodies are the first three speed electronic valve bodies to be produced by a high performance transmission company.  These valve bodies make your transmission repeat E.t.'s within thousandths of a second.  Three sets of rpm's automate the transmission completely or override as you need.

Race Mode:           Set either the same or different shift points for the maximum performance.
Burn Out Mode:    Set lower shift points to heat tires.
Pit Road:                Set low shift points for pits and return road.

All this done automatically based on normal racer functions.  No changes in your present driving except place shifter in the drive mode like a family car.  The rest is done by the Turbo Action

The following is suggestions and tips on the use of the controller:

1. Always connect your positive and ground wires to the same exact place that your ignition system connects its positive and ground.

2. Air and electric shifters using a CHEETAH SCS Shifter change position #14, relay #5 to 2 tenths of a second or you will miss shifts or double shift.

3. Air and electric shifters must go to Position #15 and set controller to PIf you do not do this your shifter will hang in second and will not go to third.
